Lubbock has had horrible weather this past month, its been cloudy almost everyday. And you all know that my pasty white skin could use a few sun rays. However, this Saturday was glorious, I could actually go out side with out wearing a jacket. The weather was perfect. Chayce was happy to get out too, she has been stuck in the indoors and her little body was so ready to go sprinting through the park. Not only was Saturday filled with perfect weather it was a day that we were able to celebrate my brothers life. It's been six years since he passed away with Colon Cancer, and every year my family and his close friends get together to visit his beautiful grave site and release balloons in the air, but since Cole and I weren't able to be there we did our own little balloon thing here in Lubbock. This year Chayce gave the balloons to Uncle Danny, it was beautiful to watch. I know Chayce had a very special relationship with Danny before she came to this earth, I'm pretty sure that's why she was so willing to let go of the balloons. Well and the fact that we had a back-up pink balloon just in case things did get a little dramatic. It was nice to celebrate Danny and all that he had to do with my life he was an amazing older brother. He was someone I definitely looked up to, and I feel so blessed that I knew him for the first 15 years of my life! And I also have him to thank for the fact that I have to get colonoscopies every three years for the rest of my life, thanks Danny! I am due for my third one but I don't have good insurance so I guess I'll just have to miss out on this one. When I do get it though I'll have to remember what Danny told me when I was getting ready to get my first one he said,"Getting ready for it sucks, but being put under is the closest to getting drunk as us mormons can get" haha! I love him very much and miss him too! Cole and I have been studying for midterms while Chayce has been entertaining herself with Olivia, Fresh Beat Band, and Yo Gabba Gabba, poor girl. I can't wait till its all over. We are going to be heading home for spring break, and I am excited. I will be able to witness something so amazing while I am there, even though it will be a sad moment, it will be followed with much joy and happiness, I know its going to be something that is supposed to happen and its going to be the biggest blessing the Lord can give for everyone involved! So for all my homies in the 480 see you in three weeks, get ready, cause I am ready to party! Also congrats to Cole's brother and wife, Karl and Rachel, Rachel gave birth to a sweet baby boy yesterday, we can't wait to meet him!
